Dean Cain, renowned for his portrayal of the iconic Superman in the hit television series "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," has been hailed as a real-life hero by his children after he bravely intervened in an attempted carjacking outside their home.
According to reports, the incident occurred as Cain's son, Christopher, 22, and daughter, Samantha, 17, were walking to their vehicle. As they approached the car, they were confronted by an armed assailant who demanded their keys.
A Father's Swift Response
Without hesitation, Cain, who was inside the house at the time, heard the commotion and rushed outside to confront the attacker. Despite the man being armed, Cain's quick thinking and courageous actions successfully deterred the carjacking.
The assailant, identified as a 28-year-old male, was apprehended by police shortly after the attempted theft. Christopher and Samantha were unharmed during the ordeal.

"We're just so proud of our dad," said Christopher in an interview. "He didn't hesitate for a second to put himself in danger to protect us."
"It was terrifying at the time, but I knew that my dad would do everything he could to keep us safe," added Samantha.
